VisitTesla Issues Fifth Recall, Pulling 27,185 Cybertrucks Over Rear-View Camera Delay
Oct 3, 2024, 10:37 AM
Tesla is recalling 27,185 Cybertruck vehicles in the United States due to a delayed rear-view camera image that reduces the driver's visibility of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). This marks the fifth recall involving the Cybertruck in less than a year since its launch. Tesla has addressed the issue with a free over-the-air software update released on September 18, 2024. Vehicle owner notification letters about the recall are expected to be mailed on November 25, 2024.
