Tesla is recalling 27,185 Cybertruck vehicles in the United States due to a delayed rear-view camera image when shifting into reverse, which reduces the driver's view of what is behind the vehicle and increases the risk of a crash, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The recall marks the fifth for the Cybertruck within a year since its launch. Tesla released an over-the-air software update on September 18 to address the issue. Vehicle owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on November 25, 2024.
