Terrorist Attack on IAF Convoy in J&K's Surankote Injures Nine Soldiers

On Saturday, a series of coordinated terrorist attacks targeted an Indian Air Force (IAF) vehicle convoy in the Surankote area of Poonch district, Jammu and Kashmir, injuring nine soldiers. Militants opened fire on two security vehicles, prompting a swift response from local military units, including the Rashtriya Rifles, who initiated cordon and search operations. The vehicles were secured within the air base near Shahsitar. High-ranking military officials rushed to the site, and the injured personnel were airlifted to a Command Hospital for medical treatment.
