The Open Network Foundation has entered into an exclusivity agreement with Telegram, making it the sole blockchain partner for Telegram's mini-app platform. This partnership will require all mini-apps, including games that incorporate cryptocurrency, to utilize the TON blockchain infrastructure. The transition to this exclusive framework must be completed by February 21, 2025. Additionally, Telegram will offer various benefits to projects that adopt the TON network, which includes the implementation of TON Connect as the standard protocol for linking mini-apps to the blockchain.
