Telegram Blocks RIA Novosti, NTV, Rossiya 1, RT, Izvestia in Europe Following EU Demands

Telegram has initiated the blocking of several Russian state media channels across Europe, following demands from EU authorities to curb the spread of Russian propaganda. The affected platforms include RIA Novosti, NTV, Rossiya 1, RT, and Izvestia. The blockages have been reported in countries such as Poland, Belgium, Switzerland, Greece, the Czech Republic, Italy, France, the Netherlands, and Sweden. These channels and websites are no longer accessible to users with European SIM cards.
