VisitTeenager Accused in July Southport Murders Charged with Terrorism Offenses
Oct 29, 2024, 04:49 PM
An 18-year-old teenager, Axel Rudakubana, accused of the knife-attack murder of three girls at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport in July, has been charged with additional terrorism offenses. The new charges include production of the deadly poison ricin and possession of a military study of an Al-Qaeda training manual. The ricin and the Al-Qaeda manual were discovered during a search of his home by the police. Despite these charges, the police have not officially declared the attack a terrorist incident. Rudakubana is also facing ten counts of attempted murder and possession of a knife. He is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court to face the new charges.
