Teamsters Lead Largest Amazon Strike at U.S. Facilities Starting Thursday

Beginning on Thursday, Amazon workers, including delivery drivers, at multiple facilities across the United States have launched a strike during the busy holiday season. Led by the Teamsters union, which calls this the largest strike against Amazon in U.S. history, the workers are demanding union recognition and improved working conditions after the company's refusal to bargain. The strike affects seven Amazon facilities in cities including New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Chicago. Despite the strike involving thousands of workers—some reports citing nearly 10,000—the company claims that holiday deliveries will not be impacted.
