Teamsters Lead Largest Amazon Strike as Thousands Walk Out at 6 AM Amid Holiday Rush

Thousands of Amazon workers at seven facilities across the United States began striking at 6 a.m. Thursday after union officials said the retailer failed to come to the bargaining table to negotiate contracts. The workers, including drivers and warehouse staff, are demanding union recognition and a fair labor contract, accusing Amazon of refusing to follow the law and bargain. The union describes this as the largest strike against Amazon in U.S. history. The timing coincides with the crucial final days of the holiday season, potentially disrupting Amazon's delivery operations during its busiest period. Amazon has stated that its operations will not be affected by the strike.
