VisitTeam USA Sets New World Record in Mixed 4x400m Relay with 3:07.41 at Paris Olympics

The United States set a new world record in the mixed 4x400 meter relay on the first day of the Paris Olympics. The team, composed of Vernon Norwood, Shamier Little, Bryce Deadmon, and Kaylyn Brown, completed the race in 3:07.41 during the heats, breaking their own previous record of 3:08.30. The previous world record of 3:08.80 was set last year at Budapest 23. The event took place at the Stade de France, where the atmosphere was described as electric. This achievement marks the first world record of the meet.
