VisitTBM Tunga Completes Key Tunneling for Bengaluru's Pink Line Metro, Set for December 2025 Completion

The Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) Tunga achieved a breakthrough on September 4, completing a 936.6-meter tunnel between Kadugondanahalli and Nagawara stations for Bengaluru's Pink Line metro project. This marks the 25th of 26 tunneling drives, with 20,582.7 meters out of the total 20,992 meters completed, representing 98% of the project. The entire project, spanning 21.26 km, is set for completion by December 2025.
