Tampa General Hospital Extends Partnership with Palantir for AI-Driven Care Coordination

Tampa General Hospital has extended its partnership with Palantir Technologies to utilize Palantir's AI software, AIP, for enhanced care coordination. This collaboration aims to improve workflows for bed placement, patient itineraries, and staffing allocation. Since 2021, Tampa General has seen significant improvements, including an 83% reduction in the time required to place patients and a 28% decline in post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) holds. Palantir's AI platform will serve as the core analytics and AI platform, encoding clinical expertise into eligibility and prioritization decisions.
