Sweden Authorizes Ukraine to Use Its Weapons Against Russia, Says Pål Jonson

Sweden has officially authorized Ukraine to use Swedish-supplied weapons against targets in Russia. This decision was confirmed by Sweden's Minister of Defence, Pål Jonson, who stated that Ukraine is subject to an unprovoked and illegal war of aggression by Russia and has the right under international law to defend itself through acts of war directed against Russian territory. The Swedish government is also encouraged to convince other allies to support Ukraine in a similar manner. Swedish media outlet Hallandspoten reported on the decision, noting that Sweden has delivered a range of weapon systems to Ukraine.
