VisitSupreme Court Rejects RFK Jr.'s Appeal to Restore Name on New York Ballot
Sep 27, 2024, 06:33 PM
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has made an emergency appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court to have his name restored to the presidential election ballot in New York. Despite suspending his independent presidential campaign in August and endorsing former President Donald Trump, Kennedy sought to be reinstated on New York's ballot. The Supreme Court rejected his bid, upholding the state-level court's decision to disqualify him due to an invalid residential address in his paperwork. Lead counsel for Kennedy is Jed Rubenfeld. A response to his appeal was due by 4 p.m. Wednesday.
