Subaru Kimura has been announced as the new voice actor for Franky in the popular anime series 'One Piece', replacing Kazuki Yao, who has voiced the character since May 22, 2005. The announcement was made during Jump Festa 2025. Kimura is recognized for his role as Todo in 'Jujutsu Kaisen'. Starting in April 2025, Kimura will take over the role as the series shifts to a new Sunday night broadcast slot on Fuji TV. Kazuki Yao's retirement marks the end of a 19-year tenure voicing Franky, celebrated for his energetic performance.
