VisitSteelers Sign Cameron Heyward to Three-Year, $45M Contract Extension with $16M Guaranteed

The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed defensive tackle Cameron Heyward to a three-year, $45 million contract extension. The deal includes $29 million in new money, $16 million fully guaranteed, and $15 million to sign. Heyward, 35, had $16 million left on the final year of his previous contract and is now under contract through 2026. This agreement is believed to be the largest ever for a defensive player aged 35 or older. Heyward, a six-time Pro Bowl selection, expressed his gratitude towards the Steelers, highlighting his desire to remain with the team for the rest of his career.
