Spotify is set to introduce a new, higher-priced premium subscription plan later this year. The new plan, aimed at the company's most ardent users, will cost at least $5 more per month and will offer high-fidelity (HiFi) audio, advanced playlisting tools, and enhanced library features. This move comes as Spotify seeks to provide better audio quality and additional tools for music lovers. Bloomberg reports that the premium version will be launched later in 2024. The announcement has positively impacted Spotify's stock, which saw a pre-market increase of 2.9%.
