Oct 20, 2024, 06:19 AM
SpaceX successfully deployed 10 OneWeb satellites into low Earth orbit during its latest mission on October 20. The deployment began approximately 45 minutes after the satellites were exposed to the vacuum of space. The mission, launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, saw the first two satellites separate from the Falcon 9 upper stage, initiating the deployment sequence. The final pair of satellites were deployed, completing the mission. This mission, known as Launch #20, marks the first satellite launch for Eutelsat after its merger, utilizing a SpaceX rocket. The satellites were developed by AirbusSpace.
