The SpaceX Polaris Dawn mission has successfully completed the first-ever commercial spacewalk on September 12, 2024, marking a significant milestone in private space exploration. Billionaire Jared Isaacman, who led the mission, became the first person to perform a commercial spacewalk. The all-civilian crew, which included Sarah Gillis, Scott Poteet, and Anna Menon, conducted the spacewalk from a commercial spacecraft.
