SpaceX successfully launched and landed the Falcon 9 rocket on June 5, 2024. The first stage of Falcon 9 landed on the Just Read the Instructions droneship, marking the first launch and landing of the month. The launch, which took place on the 14th anniversary of Falcon 9's maiden launch, deployed the first set of Starlink Direct to cell satellites. The mission also marked the first northeast launch trajectory for a Starlink mission from Cape Canaveral since the launch of Starlink Group 4-37. The Starlink launch was viewed from Savannah.
