Jun 24, 2024, 03:58 AM
On June 23, SpaceX successfully completed two significant launches, deploying more than three dozen Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit. The first launch took place from Cape Canaveral, Florida, where 22 Starlink satellites from Starlink Group 10-2 were deployed. The second launch occurred from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, deploying 20 Starlink satellites from Starlink Group 9-2, including 13 with Direct to Cell capabilities. Elon Musk revealed ambitious plans for SpaceX, aiming to eventually build 1,000 Starships annually, starting with about 100 per year. The new rocket factory, known as Starfactory, will enable serialized production. Falcon 9's second stage is currently produced every two days. Musk emphasized the importance of achieving full and rapid reusability to make life multi-planetary.
