VisitSpaceX Completes 104th Mission, Sets Record with 22 Starlink Satellites

SpaceX has successfully conducted its 104th mission of 2024, launching 22 Starlink satellites into orbit from Cape Canaveral, Florida, on October 26, 2024, setting new records. The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off at 2147 GMT, carrying the Starlink Group 10-8 of 22 v2 Mini satellites. The reusable booster B1069 completed its 19th flight and landed on the drone ship 'Just Read The Instructions' downrange. This launch contributed to the Space Coast's milestone of 73 launches this year. SpaceX is also preparing for upcoming Starlink launches, planning four missions this week. The next launch is now scheduled for October 30 from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, targeting a Falcon 9 launch of 20 Starlink satellites, including 13 with Direct to Cell capabilities.
