Solana Mobile has unveiled its next-generation smartphone, the Solana Seeker, as part of its Chapter Two rebranding. The Seeker has already garnered significant interest, with over 140,000 presales amounting to $70 million, five times the demand for its predecessor, the Saga phone. The majority of these sales are from the Asia-Pacific region. The Seeker features a 108+32 Megapixel camera, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. It includes innovations such as the Seed Vault Wallet, an updated dApp Store 2.0, and the Seeker Genesis Token. Additionally, the phone will enable users to generate tokenized AI agents through a collaboration with Alethea AI and will come with four months of free Helium Mobile service. Speaking at Token2049, Emmett Hollyer, General Manager at Solana Labs, described the Seeker as a “rewards magnet” for users but emphasized that it would not just be a “memecoin phone.” The device is set to ship in 2025.
