Shea Weber and David Poile were inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame on November 11 in Toronto, marking the first time representatives from the Nashville Predators have been enshrined. Weber, the former Predators captain, and Poile, the franchise's original general manager, were honored for their significant contributions to the team and the sport. In his induction speech, Weber expressed gratitude, stating, “I'd like to thank David Poile, Barry Trotz, and the Predators for giving me a chance to live out my childhood dream in a city I now consider a second home.” The Predators announced they will honor Poile and Weber at their next home game on November 23 against Winnipeg with a ceremonial puck drop.
