Shane Van Gisbergen (SVG) has won his second consecutive NASCAR Xfinity Series race, securing victory at Sonoma Raceway following his triumph in Portland. SVG, driving for Kaulig Racing, demonstrated his prowess on road courses, finishing ahead of Creed, Mayer, Green, and Hill, who completed the top five. During the final restart, SVG made contact with Austin Hill, which added to the post-race drama as Hill expressed his displeasure. This win marks SVG's third overall NASCAR victory. Earlier in practice, SVG led by three-tenths of a second and was more than a half-second quicker in race trim.
