Shane van Gisbergen secured his second consecutive NASCAR Xfinity Series victory by winning at Sonoma Raceway. This marks his second career win in the series, following his triumph at Portland last week. Van Gisbergen, driving the No. 97 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet, ended Justin Allgaier's streak of six straight stage wins by claiming Stage 1. He becomes the eighth driver in series history to win his first two races in consecutive weeks, a feat last achieved by Austin Cindric on road courses. The race saw some drama as van Gisbergen made contact with Austin Hill on the final restart. Sheldon Creed, Sam Mayer, Jeffrey Earnhardt, and Austin Hill rounded out the top five finishers.
