VisitSFPD Arrests Suspect Who Fired at Officers in SoMa Near Former Twitter HQ; No Injuries Reported

San Francisco Police have apprehended a suspect who fired multiple shots at officers in the South of Market (SoMa) district on Thursday evening. The incident took place near the former headquarters of X (formerly known as Twitter) at Market and 10th Streets, in front of the NEMA building. No injuries were reported. The San Francisco Sheriff's Department assisted in taking the suspect into custody. Multiple intersections, including Mission Street, were temporarily blocked due to the incident. SFPD Chief expressed gratitude for the officers' bravery and highlighted the dangers faced by law enforcement daily.
