Nkosinathi Phakathi, a serial rapist, has been sentenced to multiple life terms, including two life terms in prison by the high court sitting in Palm Ridge. Phakathi was found guilty on 90 charges of rape and 43 counts of kidnapping. In addition to the life sentences, he will serve additional time for theft and other crimes. Two years ago, Phakathi pleaded guilty to a total of 148 counts, including gun possession and kidnapping, as well as 93 counts of rape.
