Sergei Bobrovsky of the Florida Panthers achieved a historic milestone by becoming the fastest goaltender in NHL history to reach 400 wins, achieving this feat in 707 games. Bobrovsky's 400th win came in a 3-1 victory against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden in a rematch of the 2024 Eastern Conference Final. He made 27 saves in the game, handing the Rangers their first regulation loss of the season. This victory also marked Bobrovsky as the first Russian goaltender to reach 400 wins and placed him 14th on the all-time wins list, just behind Chris Osgood, Grant Fuhr, and Glenn Hall. The Panthers, now with a record of 5-3-1, have secured four of their five wins this season against playoff rivals, including the Bruins, Golden Knights, and Rangers. Igor Shesterkin started in goal for the Rangers, while Aleksander Barkov did not play for the Panthers.
