VisitSeahawks Make First Trade of Season, Acquire DL Roy Robertson-Harris from Jaguars for 2026 Sixth-Round Pick
Oct 14, 2024, 08:27 PM
The Seattle Seahawks have acquired veteran defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris from the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round draft pick. Robertson-Harris, known for his run defense, has played 210 snaps this year, with 140 focused on stopping the run. The Seahawks aim to bolster their defensive line rotation with this addition, addressing their recent struggles in run defense. Robertson-Harris' contract includes $1.4 million for 2024, $6.6 million for 2025, and $6.8 million for 2026, with no guarantees for the latter two years. The trade, the first of the NFL regular season, has been confirmed by multiple sources, including NFL insiders Ian Rapoport, Mike Garafolo, and Tom Pelissero. Robertson-Harris is an eighth-year veteran.
