A Saurya Airlines plane carrying 19 people crashed during takeoff at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal, on Wednesday. The aircraft, bound for Pokhara, skidded off the runway and caught fire, resulting in visible smoke and fire from the crash site. Initial reports indicate that at least five bodies have been recovered, and the pilot has been rushed to the hospital. State television and an airport official confirmed the incident. Rescue operations are currently underway.
