The Saudi Crown Prince emphasized the strong ties between the two nations and expressed the kingdom’s aspiration to strengthen relations with the United States. The Crown Prince was the first Arab leader to congratulate Trump by phone, according to the Saudi state news agency. Earlier, King Salman sent a cable of congratulations to the president-elect.
