VisitSatellite Images Reveal Iranian Missiles Damaged Hangars at Israel’s Nevatim Air Base
Oct 3, 2024, 06:28 AM
Satellite images obtained and published by the Associated Press show that Iranian missiles struck Israel's Nevatim Air Base, causing damage to buildings near the main runway. The images, captured on Wednesday by Planet Labs, reveal significant roof damage to two hangars and nearby structures, with large debris scattered around. The images show at least five strikes on a small section of the base, including hits near the hangars and on a road. The Israeli military acknowledged that some of its airbases were hit during Iran's missile attack on Tuesday. There is no evidence of any damaged aircraft, and it remains unclear if any planes were inside the hangars at the time.
