Sarah Beth Clendaniel Pleads Guilty to Plot with Neo-Nazi Group to Destroy Baltimore Power Grid

A Maryland woman has pleaded guilty to conspiring to destroy the Baltimore region power grid. Sarah Beth Clendaniel, of Catonsville, was charged last year with plotting to carry out attacks on multiple energy substations surrounding Baltimore. She conspired with a Florida-based founder of the neo-Nazi group Atomwaffen. Clendaniel pleaded guilty to federal conspiracy and firearms charges, according to court records.
