Sandip Ghosh Challenges Calcutta HC's Decision on CBI Corruption Probe in Supreme Court

Sandip Ghosh, the former principal of Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College, has approached the Supreme Court challenging the Calcutta High Court's decision to transfer a corruption case against him to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Ghosh, who is currently under arrest, claims he was not given a proper hearing. The Supreme Court, led by Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, is set to hear his plea on September 6.
