Samsung Next Invests in Startale Labs for Sony's Blockchain on Ethereum L2

Samsung Next, the investment arm of South Korean conglomerate Samsung, has announced an investment in Startale Labs, a leading Web3 firm. Startale Labs has recently formed a joint venture with Japanese electronics giant Sony to develop Sony's Layer 2 blockchain, Soneium, on Ethereum L2. This collaboration aims to make Web3 more accessible globally and drive innovation in blockchain technology. Startale Labs provides services through Astar Network, Soneium, and other cloud services. Samsung Next has also extended support as a participant in the Soneium Spark incubation program. The partnership between two of the largest hardware manufacturers, Samsung and Sony, signifies a significant move in the blockchain space.
