SAG-AFTRA Calls Strike Against 'League of Legends' Over Labor Dispute with Formosa Interactive

SAG-AFTRA has called a strike against the popular online game 'League of Legends.' The union accuses Formosa Interactive, LLC, a company involved in producing the game, of attempting to subvert the ongoing video game strike by trying to cancel a struck project and hire non-union labor. Additionally, SAG-AFTRA has filed an unfair labor practice charge with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) against Formosa Interactive. This decision comes after 'League of Legends,' which was previously exempt from the strike, was added to the list of titles blocked by the union amid these allegations. Riot Games, the developer of 'League of Legends,' is also implicated in the union's claims, which include refusing fair AI terms.
