Jul 7, 2024, 02:25 AM
The Sacramento Kings have agreed to a sign-and-trade deal to acquire six-time NBA All-Star DeMar DeRozan. DeRozan will join the Kings on a three-year deal worth between $70 million and $76 million, with the first two years fully guaranteed and the third year partially guaranteed. The deal, negotiated by Aaron Goodwin, includes bonuses. As part of the trade, the Kings will send Harrison Barnes to the San Antonio Spurs and Chris Duarte, two second-round picks, and cash to the Chicago Bulls. The Spurs will also receive a 2031 unprotected pick swap from the Kings. This move aims to bolster the Kings' roster as they compete in the Western Conference, joining De'Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis.
