The Russian State Duma has unanimously ratified the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement with North Korea on October 24. This treaty, initially signed by President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in Pyongyang on June 19, provides for mutual military assistance and strategic cooperation in various areas, including national security and the fight against international terrorism.
