VisitRussian Ship Port Olya 3 Suspected of Delivering 220 Iranian Ballistic Missiles to Russia
Sep 11, 2024, 02:25 PM
Satellite imagery has captured a Russian-flagged cargo ship, Port Olya 3, suspected of transporting ballistic missiles from Iran, docked at a port in Russia on September 4, 2024. The ship is reported to have delivered around 220 short-range ballistic missiles, specifically Fath-360 missiles, which have a range of over 70 miles. These missiles are intended for use in Russia's war in Ukraine. This development comes just a day after the US stated that it believes the Russian military has received shipments of Iranian Fath-360 ballistic missiles. The Port Olya 3 is also noted to be on the list of the latest US sanctions. The ship was docked at the Port of Olya in the Astrakhan region, along the Caspian Sea coast.
