A series of Russian drone strikes using Shahed drones have severely damaged the energy and civilian infrastructure in Konotop, a town in Ukraine's Sumy region. The attacks, which occurred overnight, targeted residential buildings, schools, hospitals, and energy facilities, leaving the city without electricity. At least 14 people have been injured, including teenagers and one person in critical condition. Mayor Artem Semenikhin reported that roughly 70-100 drones were used in the attack. Rescue operations are ongoing, and local authorities describe the situation as critical.
