A Russian Shahed drone entered Belarusian airspace at 3 a.m. on July 11, 2024, during an attack on Ukraine. The UAV, a kamikaze drone, stayed in Belarusian airspace for at least an hour, traveling over 350 km and approaching Minsk before disappearing near Vitebsk. Mi-24 and Su-30 aircraft were ready to intercept. This incident marks the second time in two days that a Russian drone has entered Belarus. The Ukrainian Air Force reported that four Russian drones were shot down over Ukraine, while another UAV managed to escape into Belarus.
