Russian forces launched a series of missile strikes on Kharkiv, Ukraine, resulting in significant casualties and damage. On May 24, at least seven people were killed and 21 injured in the northeastern city. The following day, Russian attacks intensified, targeting the Epicenter hypermarket, a large construction store, and other civilian areas. The hypermarket was reportedly packed with over 200 people at the time of the strike. As of the latest reports, at least six people have been confirmed dead and 40 injured. The strikes also caused extensive fires and destruction, with many people still missing. Regional Governor Oleg Synegubov reported 11 injured and 15 workers missing. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the attacks, highlighting the deliberate targeting of civilian areas during peak hours.
