A Russian missile strike on the central Ukrainian city of Poltava on Tuesday has resulted in the deaths of at least 41 people and injuries to over 180 others, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The attack involved two ballistic missiles that hit an educational institution and a nearby hospital. The building of the Military Institute of Communications was partially destroyed, and rescue operations are ongoing. This incident is one of the deadliest since the start of the conflict. Zelenskyy emphasized the need for air defence systems.
