Russian Forces Intensify Attacks with Iskander Missiles, Targeting Ukrainian Defense Systems and Kyiv

Russian forces have intensified their military operations in Ukraine, targeting key defense systems and infrastructure. According to reports, Russian troops destroyed two HIMARS, four launchers, and two AN/MPQ-65 radar stations of the Patriot complex in the Dnipropetrovsk region, specifically in the Lyubimovka area, using Iskander missiles. Additionally, Russian air defense systems intercepted 10 HIMARS rockets, two Hammer bombs, and 35 Ukrainian drones. In a separate incident, Russian forces launched ballistic and cruise missiles targeting Kyiv, which were intercepted by Ukrainian air defenses. The Ukrainian Air Force reported shooting down 8 Shahed drones, 3 cruise missiles, and 2 KN-23 ballistic missiles. The missiles used were reportedly of North Korean origin. Ukrainian media reported that 18 buildings and power lines were damaged in the attack on Kyiv. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia used more than 40 missiles, 750 guided aerial bombs, and 200 attack drones against Ukrainian cities and villages this week.
