Nov 26, 2024, 11:00 AM
Russian forces have been accused of executing Ukrainian prisoners of war (POWs) in the Donetsk region, including in Toretsk, Selidovo, and Donbas. On November 13, an assault was launched by Russian troops on Ukrainian positions near the village of Petrivka in the Pokrovske district. Five Ukrainian servicemen, retreating from the assault, took shelter in a residence, where they were subsequently taken prisoner by Russian forces. After being forced to leave their shelter unarmed, they were executed. An investigation into these executions has been initiated by the Prosecutor's Office.
