Russian Forces Capture Vuhledar, Raising Flags Over Ukrainian Stronghold

On October 1, 2024, Russian forces captured the strategic town of Vuhledar in eastern Ukraine's Donetsk region after prolonged intense fighting. Russian troops, including units from the 36th Guards Motor Rifle Brigade, raised their flags over the administration building and other key structures in the town.
