Tkachev made this proposal to Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, suggesting that a Bitcoin reserve could strengthen the nation's financial security and explore crypto-backed innovations. This move comes amid rising global interest in digital assets and follows the U.S. Treasury's recent report referring to Bitcoin as 'digital gold.'
