VisitRussia's SVR Head Naryshkin Accuses US, UK of Nord Stream Sabotage and MI6 of Plotting Kursk Nuclear Plant Attack
Oct 7, 2024, 12:15 PM
Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) Director Sergei Naryshkin stated that the agency possesses reliable information indicating direct involvement of the United States and Great Britain in the destruction of the Nord Stream pipelines. Naryshkin claimed that professional saboteurs from Anglo-Saxon special services were used to blow up the Nord Stream pipelines. He also alleged that Western intelligence services, primarily the British MI6 and Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate, have been preparing Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups for provocations at several nuclear power plants in Russia. According to Naryshkin, the plan included the seizure and mining of the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant, and he warned that had Ukraine succeeded in capturing it, Europe could have faced a disaster.
