VisitRussia Fires Over 30 Missiles at Ukraine, Targeting Kyiv, Odesa, and Energy Infrastructure
Dec 13, 2024, 05:48 AM
Russian forces have launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine, targeting multiple cities including Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, and regions such as Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Ivano-Frankivsk. Air raid alerts have been declared across all regions of Ukraine as more than 30 missiles, including Kalibr cruise missiles, were detected in Ukrainian airspace. Ukrainian air defense systems are active in response to the ongoing attacks. The missiles were reportedly launched from Russian Tu-95MS bombers over the Caspian Sea and from ships in the Black Sea. Russian forces also targeted a closed airport in Kyiv used for pilot training and destroyed 13 Ukrainian drones overnight. The attacks appear to be aimed at Ukraine's energy infrastructure and other strategic targets.
