Russia Condemns Violence After Assassination Attempt on Trump, Expresses Condolences to Killed and Injured

Russia has expressed condolences following an assassination attempt on former U.S. President Donald Trump. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that it was evident to all outside observers that Trump's life was in danger after numerous attempts to eliminate him from the political arena using legal instruments, courts, prosecutors, and attempts to politically discredit and compromise him. The Kremlin condemned any manifestations of violence during political struggles and called on the United States to take stock of its policies of incitement to hatred. Russia expressed condolences to those killed and wished a speedy recovery to the injured. Russian President Vladimir Putin does not plan to call Trump following the incident.
